Forge – Youth Ministry

Forge – Youth Ministry

Ephesians 6:10–11 – “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”

Building Faith. Building Friendships. Building for Life.

At Highlands Community Church, our youth ministry is called Forge, a place where middle and high school students are shaped by God’s Word, strengthened by genuine friendships, and encouraged to live out their faith in a world that desperately needs hope. We believe that the teenage years are not just about surviving, but thriving in Christ. Forge is where students can be real, ask hard questions, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

What We Do on Wednesday Nights

Forge gathers on Wednesday nights at 6:30 for a time designed to be both fun and meaningful. We always start with a meal and hangout time that help students connect, then move into worship, Bible teaching, and small group discussions. The teaching is rooted in Scripture and applied to real life, so students leave encouraged and equipped to live out their faith at school, at home, and with friends. Small groups give them the chance to share openly, build lasting friendships, and grow together in Christ.

Events and Activities

Beyond Wednesday nights, Forge is active throughout the year with events and opportunities to grow and serve. From lock-ins and mission trips, to service projects, and just-for-fun activities, there’s always something happening (learn more about our mission opportunities here). These experiences give students the chance to step out of their routine, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and build friendships that last far beyond high school.

You’re Invited

If you’re a student in grades 6–12, Forge is for you! Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re just beginning to ask questions about faith, you’ll find a place here. Come as you are, bring a friend, and see what it means to belong to a group that’s all about Christ, community, and courage to stand firm in the faith.

We’d love for you to join us this Wednesday night at Highlands Community Church. You can find our meeting schedule below, or contact us at pa*****@*********cc.com for more information.
